I have the same problem with FreeBSD 2.0 and AST clone multicard.
Something is definitely wrong with flow control.
ALthough when I changed modem entry in /etc/ttys to "std.2400"
everything works,no crashes, but slow 2400 baud...%$#@ :-)

Are there any guys who already faced that problem and solved it?
Help would be *GREATLY* appreciated.....
