Before 8.1-RELEASE, on 8.0, I had some trouble to read the optical drive (like playing DVD, extracting music)
Not this is solved I can access my optical drive with mplayer, cdparanoia.
But I can't burn anything :
# burncd data downloads/gparted-live-0.6.2-2.iso fixate
burncd: ioctl(CDRIOCINITTRACK): Input/output error
dmesg says this :
