Did you know that the FreeBSD java team has just released a new port of JDK 1.1.5 for FreeBSD? Check it out at <http://www.freebsd.org/java/>; It seems to run MUCH better than any other of the JDK ports I've seen. Appletviewer no longer crashes and burns, and I can finally run ICQ now -- all previous attempts using other JDK's have failed.
