Dear FreeBSD port maintainer: As part of an ongoing effort to reduce the number of problems in the FreeBSD ports system, we periodically schedule removal of ports that have been judged to have outlived their usefulness. Often, this is due to a better alternative having become available and/or the cessation of development on the existing port. In some cases, ports are marked for removal because they fail to build and install correctly from their sources, or otherwise fail in operation. The ports, and the reason and date that they have been scheduled for removal, are listed below. If no one has stepped forward before that time to propose a way to fix the problems (such as via a PR), the ports will be deleted. portname: www/apache20 description: Version 2.0.x of Apache web server with prefork MPM. maintainer: apache@FreeBSD.org deprecated because: will be unsupported by ASF when 2.4.0 is release, migrate to 2.2.x+ now expiration date: 2011-05-01 build errors: none. overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=www&portname=apache20 portname: www/mod_accesscookie description: Supply access control based cookies stored in a MySQL database maintainer: apache@FreeBSD.org status: IGNORE deprecated because: upstream is gone expiration date: 2011-01-02 build errors: none. overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=www&portname=mod_accesscookie portname: www/mod_auth_any description: Apache module to use any command line program to authenticate a user maintainer: apache@FreeBSD.org deprecated because: upstream is gone expiration date: 2011-01-02 build errors: none. overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=www&portname=mod_auth_any portname: www/mod_auth_remote description: Allows users to authenticate on a remote web server maintainer: apache@FreeBSD.org status: IGNORE deprecated because: will be unsupported by ASF when 2.4.0 is release, migrate to 2.2.x+ now expiration date: 2011-05-01 build errors: http://pointyhat.FreeBSD.org/errorlogs/sparc64-errorlogs/e.8.20100917074150/ap20-mod_auth_remote-1.0.log.bz2 (_Sep_28_16:40:32_UTC_2010) overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=www&portname=mod_auth_remote portname: www/mod_authenticache description: A generic credential caching module for Apache 2.0.x maintainer: apache@FreeBSD.org status: IGNORE deprecated because: will be unsupported by ASF when 2.4.0 is release, migrate to 2.2.x+ now expiration date: 2011-05-01 build errors: http://pointyhat.FreeBSD.org/errorlogs/sparc64-errorlogs/e.8.20100917074150/ap20-mod_authenticache-2.0.8_1.log.bz2 (_Sep_28_14:45:52_UTC_2010) overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=www&portname=mod_authenticache portname: www/mod_layout2 description: Apache2 module to wrap served pages with a header and/or footer maintainer: apache@FreeBSD.org status: IGNORE deprecated because: will be unsupported by ASF when 2.4.0 is release, migrate to 2.2.x+ now expiration date: 2011-05-01 build errors: http://pointyhat.FreeBSD.org/errorlogs/sparc64-errorlogs/e.8.20100917074150/ap20-mod_layout-4.1.log.bz2 (_Sep_28_16:03:37_UTC_2010) overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=www&portname=mod_layout2 portname: www/mod_log_data description: Module for Apache 2.0 which logs incoming and outgoing data maintainer: apache@FreeBSD.org status: IGNORE deprecated because: upstream is gone and will be unsupported by ASF when 2.4.0 is release, migrate to 2.2.x+ now expiration date: 2011-01-02 build errors: http://pointyhat.FreeBSD.org/errorlogs/sparc64-errorlogs/e.8.20100917074150/ap20-mod_log_data-0.0.3_1.log.bz2 (_Sep_28_14:52:10_UTC_2010) overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=www&portname=mod_log_data portname: www/mod_macro2 description: Apache 2.0.x module for use macros in config files maintainer: apache@FreeBSD.org status: IGNORE deprecated because: will be unsupported by ASF when 2.4.0 is release, migrate to 2.2.x+ now expiration date: 2011-05-01 build errors: http://pointyhat.FreeBSD.org/errorlogs/sparc64-errorlogs/e.8.20100917074150/ap20-mod_macro-1.1.6.log.bz2 (_Sep_28_16:47:49_UTC_2010) overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=www&portname=mod_macro2 portname: www/mod_traf_thief description: Allows you to redirect part of the traffic to your url maintainer: apache@FreeBSD.org status: IGNORE deprecated because: will be unsupported by ASF when 2.4.0 is release, migrate to 2.2.x+ now expiration date: 2011-05-01 build errors: http://pointyhat.FreeBSD.org/errorlogs/sparc64-errorlogs/e.8.20100917074150/ap20-mod_traf_thief-0.01.log.bz2 (_Sep_28_16:38:30_UTC_2010) overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=www&portname=mod_traf_thief portname: www/mod_vdbh description: Allows mass virtual hosting using a MySQL backend with Apache 2.0.x maintainer: apache@FreeBSD.org deprecated because: upstream is gone expiration date: 2011-01-02 build errors: http://pointyhat.FreeBSD.org/errorlogs/sparc64-errorlogs/e.8.20100917074150/ap20-mod_vdbh-1.0.3.log.bz2 (_Sep_28_16:52:59_UTC_2010) overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=www&portname=mod_vdbh If this problem is one that you are already aware of, please accept our apologies and ignore this message.
