Anyone who unsubscribes from spam is deluding themselves. It is
verifiable in very many cases that the unsubscribe route is used
for no more than verifying "live" email addresses for higher-priced
resale. For that reason, unsubscribing mailing lists that you do
not own is much worse.

Can we kill this thread-from-hell now and take it to a spam-discussion
list, _please_?
