this is normal. if you netstat -I ed1, you should see that the ip is there. i believe this happens because the interface is already ifconfig'd...but works. i use lo0 for my virtual hosting...it avoids the error message and works fine. cheers, jeff | |\ +------------------------------+ Jeffrey J.
