I noticed that the Jail Documentation in section 14.4.3, "Keeping Jails Patched and up to Date", while it covers security patches, doesn't cover major and minor version upgrades. Seems to me there should be a section here, or near here, on what to do to update any jails you may have after you've updated the host operating system version, and it should be linked to from chapter 23 "Updating and Upgrading FreeBSD". I see there's already a request in the bug tracker to rewrite section 14.3, https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=226282 and it looks like the resource referenced there, https://wiki.freebsd.org/VladimirKrstulja/Guides/Jails , also has some information on upgrading a jail, in section 5.2, by using the --currently-running flag to freebsd-update. Would it be reasonable for me to submit a bug for this, or is there a better way to go forward? Chris Jordan
