: Hi Warner - well, I have good and bad news. The good news is that it
: compiles and boots wonderful. It boots into single-user mode just fine,
: and it looks like it works great. Plugging and unplugging the card

: unlike the old code. It seems like it is doing the right thing. The bad
: news is this: as soon as pccardd starts up the kernel crashes hard. It
: seg faults and cannot sync. It looks like you are on the right path,
: though... Let me know if you think I am doing something wrong.

Did you rerun config? I suspect that you did, or it wouldn't have
compiled at all. What chipset do you have in your laptop?
