I'd recommend Postfix with LDAP and Cyrus for IMAP and POP, all available
under ports.  The postfix site is at http://www.postfix.org .

TWIG, a great free webmail/groupware package, is available at
http://twig.screwdriver.net .  You will need to build apache and
mod_php4, both under ports.
