Hi,

on a brand new PC with ASUS-P55TP4XEG I have the problem that the
2.1.5-install disk (17.7.'96, 4:03:52) doesn't find the hard disk.

The config is:

2 NCR SC200 (53c810) with:
    ncr0: ncr1:
 0 HP3725S (2GB HD) <-- 50MB DOS, rest free

 2 CDROM 1 2 CDROM 3
 3 CDROM 2 3 CDROM 4
                         4 CDROM 5
                         5 CDROM 6
 6 HP35480A (DAT) 6 CDROM 7

IDE disabled.

In the BIOS:
Slot 1 (Right) IRQ 15 <- ncr0
Slot 2 14 <- ncr1
Slot 3 Auto
Slot 4 Auto

The rest are 2 SMC8016 cards and a PCI-video card.

On probing the devices, it sees the disk (and all other devices):
sd0(ncr0:0:0): HP C3725S 6039

However, when I call the partition editor from the custom install menu
it says 'no disk found' and the debug screen shows:
sd0(ncr0:0:0) Aborted Command asc: 4e,0
              Overlapped commands attempted, retries 4 [3 2 1]
sd0: error reading primary partition table

After swapping the SCSI buses, sd0(ncr1:0:0) complains.

Any clue, what I'm doing wrong ?

Thanks for your help,
Robert
