When i build and boot a new kernel on current with isp i get the following : isp0: <Qlogic ISP 1080 PCI SCSI Adapter> port 0xec00-0xecff mem 0xfcfff000-0xfcffffff irq 9 at device 7.0 on pci1 firmware_get: failed to load firmware image isp_1080 isp0: [ITHREAD] And then it just hangs there. I believe it is because of the new compiler gcc4.2 I have a kernel from May 8th that was built with the old compiler and it boots fine I tried compiling a kernel with the isp code from May 8th with new compiler and it hangs also. Anybody else see this. I can comment out the isp code from my config and current kernel boots fine Manfred ================================== || null@pozo.com || || Ph.
