I've been watching this thread, and I can't get any of the suggestions for a
ripper to work. When I tried dagrab, I get this:

dagrab -a -d /dev/acd0c
dagrab: read TOC ioctl failed: Input/output error

When I try cdda2wav, I get this:

cdda2wav -D /dev/acd0c
cdrom device (/dev/acd0c) is not of type generic SCSI. Setting interface to
cooked_ioctl.
266240 bytes buffer memory requested, 4 buffers, 27 sectors
cooked: Read TOC : Input/output error

When I try the dd method:

dd if=/dev/acd0ct1 of=foo bs=2352
dd: /dev/acd0ct1: No such file or directory

All help appreciated!
