https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D243321 Bug ID: 243321 Summary: pmcannotate depends on objdump Product: Base System Version: CURRENT Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: bin Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: emaste@freebsd.org Blocks: 229046 As reported by Slawa Olhovchenkov on freebsd-arch, pmcannotate relies on objdump, which may be removed. It passes the --start-address and --end-address command-line args. These are supported by llvm-objdump, so we could check for both objdump and llvm-objd= ump in $PATH.
