i'm trying to install freebsd on my 1.2g wd1 drive, (this is 2.2.6, it's all i got on
cd right now :P) and it reads the disk as having 2.0g and therefore locks up
from timeouts when it tries to write to the drive after i confirm the install.
help!

would perhaps trying 2.2.7 work? cause i know i installed 3.0 a while ago with
no problems, but it was sorta unstable so i reverted to the 2.2.x tree.
