[-- Attachment #1 --] Hi, im not sure if this is the right place but i have a couple suggestions i feel would help. Mainly for the ports...i think the dates the ports are first released and last updated would be very helpful. It'd almost be nice to have a rating system that users could rate ports on a scale, and possibly flags that indicate active maintenance, security maintenence only, or no longer maintained....so we know which ports are falling behind the times perhaps. my second suggestion (hopefully taken not too harshly) would be to perhaps start a hardcore effort at having people make howto's for freebsd.....yes i know a lot of the linux ones apply...but im sure there is all sorts of neat howtos people could make....from perhaps simple stuff from like setting up a printer to specific stuff like moving services to ssl or something..... if i have sent this to the wrong place, or should contact a different person for the ports suggestion, please let me know so that i may correct myself. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
