If someone will tell me what (if any) difference there is in making a 
kernel and making one for the boot floppy, I'll be glad to compile a 
2.0.5 kernel with WD7000 support for ya. (and anyone else, for that 
matter) I think I'll try the card in this machine just for kicks anyways 
- it's not doing anything else, and I can always trade my employer it for 
a SB16, I suppose. <grin>
