Off the top of my head,
install the apache_modssl port with --enable-suexec in the Makefile
then, install your mod_php
then install mod_frontpage from the ports. At one point I think it will
ask you for the location of httpd so it can "update" (aka destroy it). Give
it a dummy copy to "update" and let it install on its merry way after that.
After that you should be fine. You may want
FrontpageAdminEnable
as well depending on your security needs.

Oh, and if you are updating from Frontpage 98/2000 to 2002, there are some
additional headaches like making sure the symlink
/usr/local/frontpage/currentversion -> version5.0/
is there

In many ways we find frontpage on UNIX FAR more resilient in an ISP
environment. We rarely have to fix sites on the unix boxes, but very often
have to on the Win32 machines. The biggest problem is that users will
bugger up things via FTP, but the UNIX version is less susceptible to being
damaged by this. On 2 FreeBSD servers, we have about 700 FrontPage enabled
domains.
