(I never understand why people send plain-text attachments as unreadable BASE64...) The second one (about your homework) was off-topic, so I skipped it. Finally, I didn't feel able to answer the third one, because I don't know much about BeOS. Someone else might answer it. You didn't ask it long ago anyway.
