I'm trying to upgrade mplayer, which leads to this: => MD5 Checksum OK for MPlayer-1.0pre8.tar.bz2. => SHA256 Checksum OK for MPlayer-1.0pre8.tar.bz2. ===> Patching for mplayer-gtk2-esound-0.99.8 ===> Applying FreeBSD patches for mplayer-gtk2-esound-0.99.8 ===> mplayer-gtk2-esound-0.99.8 depends on file: /usr/local/modules/rtc.ko - found ===> mplayer-gtk2-esound-0.99.8 depends on file: /usr/local/lib/libcaca.a - not found ===> Verifying install for /usr/local/lib/libcaca.a in /usr/ports/graphics/libcaca ===> Vulnerability check disabled, database not found => libcaca-0.9.tar.gz doesn't seem to exist in /usr/ports/distfiles/. => Attempting to fetch from ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/distfiles/. fetch: transfer timed out fetch: libcaca-0.9.tar.gz appears to be truncated: 0/215622 bytes => Attempting to fetch from http://sam.zoy.org/projects/libcaca/. fetch: http://sam.zoy.org/projects/libcaca/libcaca-0.9.tar.gz: Moved Permanently => Couldn't fetch it - please try to retrieve this => port manually into /usr/ports/distfiles/ and try again. *** Error code 1 Manual fetch does not work - the file arrives, but portupgrade reports a checksum mismatch. Has anyone else out there seem this? Robert Huff
