            Bug ID: 231673
Summary: Why does "make distrib-dirs" have to be run as root?
           Product: Base System
           Version: CURRENT
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: misc
          Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: 0mp@FreeBSD.org

Is there a reason why "make distrib-dirs" is not implemented in such a way =
that
it could be run as a unprivileged user?

I'm doing kernel development and I'd like to use NFS to boot
my modified FreeBSD. I'm following this guide[1] and I collect my notes
