I've got a few smaller machines here that will detect ed0 (correct settings) when booted from the install floppies but refuse to do so once installed. I'm mystified; the hardware hasn't changed. FWIW, the cards are jumpered to fixed locations (i.e.: 0x300, 10, 0xcc000 / 0x280, 3, 0xd8000) and are not set in the software / EEPROM mode. ----- Kris Kirby, KE4AHR | TGIFreeBSD...
