Network booted from a locally running bootpd and tftp. The nfs server
is on a different subnet. The kernel is basically the same one as GENERIC.

>Description:

When using the alias feature of ifconfig, it immediately freezes the
machine. The machine is not pingable nor does it respond at the
console. However, syscons console switching works, and the carriage
return works.. just get nothing back from the machine.

the machine sits at 172.16.102.203, i am trying to alias it to
172.16.102.205.

>How-To-Repeat:

ifconfig ep0 alias {second ip, same subnet.}

>Fix:

None that I know of.
