Hello, Same a similar problem ... here is mine ... I purchased FreeBSD and attempted to load it on an IBM Laptop (ThinkPad). The laptop already has 95 running on it. I placed the BSD CD 1 in the drive and booted. Looked like FreeBSD was booting however, got a few messages. found disk 0 (a:) found disk 1 (c:) was GUESSING which to use. tried to load the kernel ... seemed like it could not find it ..... went into some boot language that allowed commands like load, autoboot, ... Any ideas .... it is very frustrating ... Thanks in advance Francis Buhler KPMG Consulting, Inc.
