FWIW, I think we should start a new bikeshed, because I'm having trouble
finding the old one. As far as I can tell, the conversation went:

So it sounds like there's lots of room for refinement, no real objection
to refinement, but since we've just entered a code freeze, any refinement
should be carefully discussed with re@. :-)
