Hi,

I have a fundamental question regarding mounting the root file system.

I tried to find vfs_mountroot operation in Linux and couldn't find it as p=
art of vfsops.
I believe that Linux doesn't have the vfs_mountroot as part of the vfsops.

I am porting some BSD style code onto Linux and I ran into the issue
and could not find an equivalent for vfs_mountroot operation.

Any thoughts as to why Linux doesn't seem to have vfs_mountroot as part of =
its vfsops

Please share your thoughts as they are much valued are welcome.

Thanks and Regards,
Ronald
