Hmm... Since I seem to have gotten nv the closest (comparing my results
with others), my nv tree is at ftp://ftp.goof.com/users/mmead/nv.tar.gz - grab
it if you like...

I'd like to get vic working with qcam support...

I have a working FreeBSD binary (only if you don't have bidirectional
port... for some reason it doesn't work with bidirectional ports). I've tarred
my directory including the changes to make it compile with libxforms.a. It's
at ftp://ftp.goof.com/users/mmead/xfqcam102.tar.gz

I had problems with this too. I however *did* get qcam-0.3 working
just fine. I use it to update a picture on my webpage each minute.
ftp://ftp.goof.com/users/mmead/qcam-0.3.tar.gz...

I know how this feels. I spent like 4 hours getting some of this stuff
working... ;( Hope my tars help.
