Just a datapoint, so the poor fellow doesn't run off thinking he has to create a hibernation *partition*. I have a ThinkPad X20. I use a hibernation *file* named `SAVE2DSK.BIN' on a FAT filesystem. I created the file using the DOS `PS2.EXE' utility. My FAT partition happens to be the first slice, and FreeBSD is on the second slice. Cheers, -- Jacques A.
