I assume that is a typo, inetd_flags="-wW" # Optional flags to inetd Is what is in /etc/defaults/rc.conf. Do you have 'inetd_enable="NO"' in /etc/rc.conf. Is inetd(8) leaving any messages in /var/log/messages? Did you see inetd mentioned at boot? Any error messages pop up with it? -- Crist J.
