The official powerpc64 and powerpc builds are via gcc 4.2.1 toolchain builds. For powerpc64 I can try substituting kernel materials from, say, somewhere like: https://artifact.ci.freebsd.org/snapshot/stable-11/r*/powerpc/powerpc64/ker= nel*.txz or https://download.freebsd.org/ftp/snapshots/powerpc/powerpc64/12.0-*/kernel*= .txz (assuming that you do not care about the buildworld/ports side of things).
