We had a few quirks with the first generation DL360, but we could run on them just fine. The DL360G2 and later should be fine out of the box though. We use various configurations of DL320, DL360 and DL380 at work. The DL360G1 uses the "ida" device driver for its onboard raid, the DL360G2 and later use "ciss". Hint: for the rom setup, select the Operating system as Unixware, Solaris, Windows* or Linux. Do *not* choose "Other" or the kernel will not see the APIC hardware. FreeBSD isn't "officially supported" but works fine. In case you're interested, the FreeBSD master source repository is actually on a DL360G1 running SMP right now.
