It does not fix the problem. Why? Because the netbios name was not "suedzwo" it is a weird "QS55SCCB": mount_smbfs -I suedzwo.suedfac.com //qsecadm@QS65D5CCB/sfimages /mnt/as400 That worked. Only problem, if i use the /etc/nsmb.conf file, the authentications is not working. I will fix that later for my own. asg
