I think this is partly because too many messages have gone
ignored on the -doc list and even more because the documentation
explaining the doc-proj talked about what the doc-proj does, what
the doc-proj is, etc., instead of saying this is what you can do,
this is how you are needed, etc.. I haven't actually read most
of the stuff explaining the doc-proj for a while, so I could be
wrong... :-) I think the stuff you just wrote is much much
better in this respect. It suggests a much more active and
involved doc-proj, instead of a removed institution.

Okay, just glancing over the pr list, these are ones related the
docs system, in addition to just ones listing submitted
plain-text.
docs/2353 should be reviewed and possibly committed.
docs/3590 FAQ gives strange reccomendation re: ttys & xdm
docs/5070 plain-text FAQ submission
docs/4698 Change to handbook re: making repair floppies. I'm not
sure this is doc-proj stuff, but it's listed here. :)
docs/5545 Problem with rendered html from handbook
docs/6036 plain-text handbook submission
docs/5487 `Will someone please write some more information for
the handbook!'
docs/1691 LinuxDoc PPP documentation. PS. Use ":r" not
"!!cat ..." to read-in files when using vi. :)
docs/5247 Add reference to relevant Linux docs from FAQ
docs/5600 Some Nik Clayton joker thinks he has something to say :)

Okay, I'll rephrase this...
Are there any valid objections to assigning general doc-related
PRs to the freebsd-doc list?
[If not, I'll talk to Steve or someone and see if this requires
any special set-up in gnats]
