Hello All: I have searched the mailing lists, and have not found the answer I was looking for. I am new to setting up Disk Quotas, and was wondering why it is failing on me. Here is what I have done so far. I am using FreeBSD 3.3, I added OPTIONS QUOTA in the kernel and rebuilt it. I added the userquota and groupquota to the /web filesystem in /etc/fstab I then enabled Disk Quotas in the etc/defaults/rc.conf file and then rebooted I now have a quota.group and quota.user file. Now I want to limit the users to only 2 Megs of space. What is it that I have to put in the hard block limits to get to 2 megs of space. I tried putting soft to 0 and hard to 2000 and I save the vi session edquota put me in. I then try to upload a 190 kb file and it keeps telling me that I have exceeded my disk quota and does not try to upload the file.
