Here's a link to my old thread. http://news.gw.com/freebsd.hardware/4195 We have since then upgraded both the firmwire and motherboard BIOS but we still get the messages during reboot that FreeBSD is unable to destroy the device 0. I'm not exactly sure what it means, but I guess that it's not able to "take down" the device properly. I still don't know why it does that. As I recall, the 4.8ß drivers are older than the ones that you linked to, and those were the same that shipped with 5.2. I saw that they were updated slightly four days ago, perhaps the newer versions of the driver files came with 5.2.1 that was released yesterday? Regards, Mathias.
