* Sure, but did you noticed that strcmp("foo-1.2.3/Makefile", * "foo/Makefile") < 0? That is, 'find -s' and 'find | sort' give * different results? Is it ok? I think it's ok, most of the time the purpose of sorting is just to have one consistent ordering. A warning in the manpage that it may not agree with sort(1) should be enough.
