Hi, I am facing problem with httpd. Its not openning more than 5 child process for httpd is it because of lockf. If it is what did I do different in installing Apache. Because I have installed the same version in another server and that does not show lockf when I do 'top'. Can somebody help me please! Here is how 'top' looks : PID USERNAME PRI NICE SIZE RES STATE TIME WCPU CPU COMMAND 24983 nobody 18 0 540K 1056K lockf 0:00 0.00% 0.00% httpd 24982 nobody 18 0 540K 1056K lockf 0:00 0.00% 0.00% httpd 23052 nobody 18 0 540K 1056K lockf 0:00 0.00% 0.00% httpd 24802 nobody 18 0 540K 1056K lockf 0:00 0.00% 0.00% httpd 24981 nobody 18 0 540K 1056K lockf 0:00 0.00% 0.00% httpd Can somebody help me or explain to me why is it like this.
