Trying to upgrade my XFree installation, I of course messed things up instead: 21:08 ~> startx xauth: (argv):1: bad display name "messiah.megadeb.org:0" in "list" command xauth: (argv):1: bad display name "messiah.megadeb.org:0" in "add" command _XSERVTransSocketUNIXCreateListener: ...SocketCreateListener() failed _XSERVTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: server already running Fatal server error: Cannot establish any listening sockets - Make sure an X server isn't already run ning ...anyone have an idea of what I can do here? I'd *really* like to get my X back...and also if someone could explain to me the 'bad display name' part, that'd be great. Don't fix it if it ain't broke.
