There is some indication (after talking with obrien and conducting an extensive mailing list search) that someone bumped libc (libc.so.3 --> libc.so.4) in that upgrade package and that is why it was removed. However, there is still no real explanation, and more importantly, no replacement for the missing package. Greg -- Gregory S.
