For some work on network protocols, I would like to create a 'WAN environment' using only one PC (don't want to setup a real network). I was thinking about creating two 'virtual' interfaces and connecting the two using dummynet. The only problem is I still haven't figured out how to create those 'virtual interfaces'. So here I am looking for suggestions. Should I use tun0/1 and run two userland ppp daemons talking to each other? Will that work? Ethernet interfaces would be much easier, but I couldn't find any reference to such software-only Ethernet driver. -- Nimrod. http://www.geocities.com/rodd_27 To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
