My box has been stable now that I've quit using NFS heavily.  Yesterday
it ran load averages of 3+ for about 8 hours straight w/out a whimper.

Ahh, I am using the faster (60ns) RAM on my box, so that may make a
difference.

I suspect there are still NFS bugs in FreeBSD that only occur under
heavy load.
