At IESD we are going to try making a FreeBSD based modemserver. That
means that we are looking for a multiport I/O card for this machine.
Several questions rises:
* The machine is a Pentium with PCI bus. Does there exist
PCI based multiport I/O cards supported by (and known to
work on) FreeBSD? If so what are the full name of these
cards?
* We would prefer 16 ports on the card at minimum. We have
heard of BOCA cards that support this. Is this ISA based
and what is the full name of these cards?
* Any pointers to productnames are appreciated and experiences
with various products likewise.
