PR 44148) I actually do not understand the reasons why the headers are gone, but whatever they are, the status quo is unacceptable. Those headers were public headers, they are used by important software and ports (like squid), and they need to be installed again. And they shouldn't have disappeared without port-sanitizing and a HEADS UP / note in UPDATING in the first place.
