drm0 say it allocates irq 11 when starting up:
drm0: <Matrox G550 (AGP)> mem
0xfd000000-0xfd7fffff,0xfdefc000-0xfdefffff,0xf8000000-0xf9ffffff irq 11 at
device 0.0 on pci1
info: [drm] AGP at 0xf0000000 128MB
info: [drm] Initialized mga 3.1.0 20021029 on minor 0
drm0: [MPSAFE]
When I unload the firewire module I get
-su-2.05b# vmstat -i
interrupt total rate
irq1: atkbd0 14670 0
irq6: fdc0 4 0
irq8: rtc 20292380 128
irq12: psm0 106557 0
irq13: npx0 1 0
stray irq13 1 0
irq14: ata0 117802 0
irq15: ata1 30 0
irq16: fwohci0 430097959 2712
stray irq16 1 0
irq17: pcm0 548028 3
irq18: bktr0 428987 2
irq19: uhci0 bktr1 987 0
irq20: em0 1301800 8
irq0: clk 158552995 1000
Total 611462202 3857
=> no drm0 appears either. But there is no problem with interrupt
storm, glxgears are happy, and there is no excessive time spent in
interrupts according to both top and 'systat -vmstat 1' (something
beteen 0.1 to 0.4%).
> can you try moving the graphics adapter to a different PCI slot?
No. It's AGP Matrox G550 and there is the only AGP slot.
