--5/uDoXvLw7AC5HRs Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hi, I'm having trouble with a machine that was recently rebooted and will no lo= nger boot correctly. The boot process hangs with the following screen: Loading /boot/defaults/loader.conf - The cursor does not move and no other text is displayed. After about 10 min= utes, the boot finishes (without the splash screen) and displays the login prompt= =2E I tried to login but it timed out after 300 seconds. The server was using a custom built kernel. I tried to get the GENERIC kern= el =66rom the livefs ISO and restore it via FIXIT console, but I realized that= I actually don't know how to do that... So how do I go about fixing this? Thanks in advance. --=20 Hac Phan Unix System Administrator Network & Infrastructure, RSSP-IT UC Berkeley --5/uDoXvLw7AC5HRs Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.12 (FreeBSD) iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJMr87sAAoJEN/fmp4cLLM1AaoH/ieFBDXT6xHdQzKM11b/CsKD YCZtj8mfXKa+5zVnjrAYX+moA644KiLnlpifv1l165G0e/1tbrJpdqq7g1iCuA92 MzRKAfTobBe4wxE1vlY/H7JsYFFTFn/S51FBzF5YS1jSNSKlAX6KadnVXxOk9I/B w7usO0EnEnHU7qzg7cuREadc2nVQMoSzQx931Zf/vNtQQ0vv+PifZ6Byg1NsDAkQ NCw5qlflyXN+3xBCdvtbwvSrggMSL4cVeQlWJ7zSwzysMgwjiL7QVHMsyhi3xpzt Q9wVscMXfX2i2SLnVwhHQ8EucSWNHBVl1I32vWb4Ej2L+kRkyNTe4Z+Xehv8QSA= =zxyD -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --5/uDoXvLw7AC5HRs--
