I've read some things about 4.6-stable not fitting in 8Megs. Just thought everone would like to know that I have PicoBSD built from 4.6-stable sources running on a Fujitsu stylistic 1000 with no hard drive. It's a 486 pen tablet computer with 8Megs of memory. I have it setup with a 2Meg memory file system. It's customized for my hardware, including support for an Aironet 802.11b wireless pcmcia card. It has sshd and syslogd running and also has the ee editor. It has about 200k of space left over on the memory file system and about 500k of free memory for running applications. I'm using it as a diskless wireless router. So far it's working great. l8r Aaron To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-small" in the body of the message
