Sounds like the fixes to work around the broken gettimeofday() system call have not been preserved when named was intergrated into the build. drugs:named 23:58 {841} % nm -o *.o | grep gettimeofday ns_glue.o: U gettimeofday ns_main.o: U gettimeofday drugs:named 00:00 {842} % pwd /usr/obj/usr/src/usr.sbin/named drugs:named 00:00 {843} % I would exect to isc__getimeofday. sysctl -w kern.timecounter.method=1 often works to fix this. The above was from one of the RC's for 4.4. (I'm waiting for anoncvs to be working again to get to 4.4-STABLE, not enough space for two copies of the src on the laptop).
