Mark, Previously, the installation of OpenSSL man pages was controlled by this knob (text from share/examples/etc/make.conf): # To build the OpenSSL manpages, uncomment the following. These are not # built by default because they clobber a number of system manpages with # manpages describing parts of the OpenSSL toolkit, including passwd(1), # err(3), md5(3), and others. # #WANT_OPENSSL_MANPAGES= true This has been removed, which is bad. I'd __really__ like to see OpenSSL documentation installed, but in a non-clobbering way. Should we have /usr/share/man/openssl ? Or perhaps we should use pod2html (rather than pod2man) and install /usr/share/doc/openssl ? Cheers, -- Jacques A. Vidrine <nectar@celabo.org> http://www.celabo.org/ NTT/Verio SME . FreeBSD UNIX .
