[-- Attachment #1 --] Dear Colleagues, vm-bhyve keeps virtual machines on zfs volumes with volmode=dev. How can I access/mount the filesystems within the volume when the virtual host is offline? If I kept virtual disks in raw files, I could access them as devices with mdconfig. But: root@newserv:~ # mdconfig -a -f /dev/zvol/zroot/vm/mail/disk0 mdconfig: /dev/zvol/zroot/vm/mail/disk0 is not a regular file root@newserv:~ # Also, how can I exchange those zfs volumes for use with other hypervisors? They are not real raw disk files so I cannot use sysutils/vmdktool etc. -- Victor Sudakov, VAS4-RIPE, VAS47-RIPN 2:5005/49@fidonet http://vas.tomsk.ru/ [-- Attachment #2 --] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJcYarQAAoJEA2k8lmbXsY0fUAH/2lHOGF0pV7A0Cbnm5HLq0vG VUMpYFqL0ZE46UrmtA68DOBpe7xDRkoakpZBTWrXEgq0LlKArxEoSuLy/anFoa2q ateDZz/prIX3zDXgDBZW8G1PkV+P3Olrl6zHTrCoR1W/85xYWO8ZZI4wFc16/TQm IFKlmoovON6nNWf7L2RlqMPFPcEkkjZCHd9XVrgfDJWpfTpLe7Zj5H2XGwK2/XQL aScDBI212saexdaHloj8kJ6VJfTjA1i8HOTa9h56z7uJLJiPN1lljj1SbFX4L/xE iYyj6YlmdAEWPgvQZng2YQnIs3RKVrs68JBVkp+kmW5k5+MkAyfnI927JaNy5gc= =B44S -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
