What is the specific use case you are concerned about? I'm calling pccard_ether from my tool to manage interface for laptop environment. I want to invoke dhclient after linkup to avoid weired delay. I need to up wireless interface before calling pccard_ether to confirm that a link could be associated. http://www.imasy.or.jp/~ume/FreeBSD/ifstatd-20050926.tar.gz Sincerely, -- Hajimu UMEMOTO @ Internet Mutual Aid Society Yokohama, Japan ume@mahoroba.org ume@{,jp.}FreeBSD.org http://www.imasy.org/~ume/
