I'd have thought that libarchive was new enough, but I concur: if they are upstream that way, then it's fine. So it looks like we're down to a few stragglers that are still uuencoded, but we don't need to do that any more. And there's hundreds of files in the tree that are binaries already. Libarchive implements uuencode file type detection, FYI. -Enji
